Terms and Conditions

The Terms and Conditions (T&C’s) contained herein along with the Privacy Policy, form an Agreement regulating the relationship with regard to the use of TheRepairShack.com’s ‘shopping’ Platform (Site) by the User. Please read this Agreement carefully. By accessing, browsing, visiting and/or using the Site, for any reason whatsoever, the User is deemed to have accepted the terms and conditions listed herein. The User is advised to regularly check for any amendments or updates to the terms and conditions set out herein, from time to time.

Definitions

  • "Agreement" means the Terms and Conditions (T&C’s) contained herein along with the Privacy Policy. It will also include references to this Agreement as and when amended, notated, supplemented, varied or replaced.
  • "Customer" means and includes any Natural person/ Legal entity/ Buyer who makes an offer to TheRepairShack.com for sale of the Products promoted or displayed on the Site, by placing an order on the Site and/or with TheRepairShack.com.
  • "Information" is defined as any information the User provided to TheRepairShack.com in the registration, buying or listing process, in the feedback area or through any e-mail feature.
  • "Product(s)" includes the goods, services promoted/displayed on the Site and/or sold by eZmaal.com through the Site.to the terms and conditions as listed herein.

Product Listing

TheRepairShack.com strives for accuracy in all item descriptions, photographs, compatibility references, detailed specifications, pricing, links and any other product-related information contained herein or referenced on our website. Due to human error and other determinates, we cannot guarantee that all item descriptions, photographs, compatibility references, detailed specifications, pricing, links and any other product-related information listed are entirely accurate, complete or current, nor can we assume responsibility for these errors.

In the event a product listed on our website is labeled with an incorrect price due to some typographical, informational, technical or other error, TheRepairShack.com shall at its sole discretion have the right to refuse and/or cancel any order for said product and immediately amend, correct and/or remove the inaccurate information. Additionally, all hyperlinks to other websites from TheRepairShack.com are provided as resources to customers looking for additional information and/or professional opinion. TheRepairShack.com does not assume responsibility for the claims and/or representations made on these or any other websites.

  • "Services" means the services offered on the Site solely for the reason of aiding the sale of the Products.
  • "Site" means the internet website having the internet protocol address "http://www.TheRepairShack.com ".
  • "Manufacturer" means any person / legal entity, trade organization/s, manufacturer/s, shop etc. who has manufactured the Products that are promoted/displayed and/or sold on the Site.
  • "User" includes every person who accesses, browses, visits and/or uses the Site and includes a Customer.

Interpretation

Unless the context otherwise requires, (i) words importing the masculine gender shall also include the feminine gender and vice versa; and (ii) the use of the singular shall include the plural and vice-versa.
The terms "herein", "hereof", "hereto", "hereunder" and words of similar purport refer to this Agreement as a whole.
The words "include" and "including" are to be construed without limitation.

The Agreement between the user and TheRepairShack.com shall be subject to the following

Use of the Site is available only to persons who can form legally binding contracts under applicable law. Persons who are "incompetent to contract" within the meaning of the (Contract Act No.and Year) including un-discharged insolvents etc. are not eligible to use the Site. You are prohibited from purchasing any material which is for adult consumption the sale or purchase of which to/by minors are strictly prohibited.

If the User is registering as a business entity, he/she represents that he/she has the authority to bind the entity to this Agreement. Unless otherwise specified, the materials on the Site are directed solely at those who access the Site from their own countries. TheRepairShack.com makes no representation that any Products or Services are appropriate for us. Those who choose to access the Site from outside the jurisdiction are responsible for compliance with local laws if and to the extent local laws are applicable. TheRepairShack.com will deliver the Products only within its jurisdiction and will not be liable for any claims relating to any Products ordered from outside its jurisdiction.

These terms and conditions supersede all previous representations, understandings, or agreements and shall prevail notwithstanding any variance with any other terms of any order submitted. By using the shopping services of TheRepairShack.com, the User agrees to be bound by the Terms and Conditions.

All prices, unless indicated otherwise are in USD. The prices displayed are exclusive of tax, applicable in accordance with the law. All purchases shall attract VAT at the rate of (applicable VAT rate, e.g.: 5%). In addition, Octroi will be charged if and as applicable. All such taxes shall be payable/ recoverable by/from the Customer. "We as a merchant shall be under no liability whatsoever in respect of any loss or damage arising directly or indirectly out of the decline of authorization for any Transaction, on Account of the Cardholder having exceeded the preset limit mutually agreed by us with our acquiring bank from time to time"

All displayed prices and availability of the Products are subject to change without prior notice at the sole discretion of TheRepairShack.com.

TheRepairShack.com reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order placed for a Product that is listed at an incorrect price. This shall be regardless of whether the order has been confirmed and/or payment levied. In the event, the payment has been processed by TheRepairShack.com the same shall be credited to the account of the User and duly notified to such User by email.

In a credit card transaction, the User shall use his/her own credit card. TheRepairShack.com shall not be liable for any credit card fraud. The liability to use a card fraudulently shall be on such User and the onus to prove otherwise shall be exclusively on the User.

On receipt of purchase orders, TheRepairShack.com shall, in due course (depending on the mode of payment) dispatch the Product to the Customer. Any request for cancellations of orders once duly placed on the Site, shall not be entertained.

In the event that a non-delivery occurs on account of a mistake by the Customer (i.e. wrong name or address), any extra cost incurred by TheRepairShack.com for redelivery shall be claimed from such Customer. In the event that the Customer for any reason whatsoever abstains from honoring such claims of TheRepairShack.com. TheRepairShack.com shall have the right to withhold the delivery of the Product to such Customer and/or his/her nominee, in lieu of the payment of extra cost contemplated in this clause.

TheRepairShack.com shall not be liable for any delay / non-delivery of the Products, for reasons, including flood, fire, wars, acts of God that are beyond the control of TheRepairShack.com.

The User expressly agrees that the use of the Service(s) and the Products of the TheRepairShack.com is at the sole risk of the User. The Products of TheRepairShack.com are provided on an "as is" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Therepairshack.com its affiliates, employees, agents, consultants, contracted companies make no warranties of any kind, whether expressed or implied, for the Products it is providing or as to the results that may be obtained from use of the Products or Services, or as to the accuracy, reliability or content of any information, service, or merchandise provided through the Site. It is hereby also clarified and understood that all warranties, implied or express take place between the Manufacturers and the Customer unless otherwise expressed or implied.

Product(s) sold as "Repair Services"

The User expressly agrees that purchasing a "Repair Service" is at the risk of the User. It is understood by the User that Therepairshack.com its affiliates, employees, agents, consultants, contracted companies make no warranties of any kind, whether expressed or implied, that a successful repair will be completed. The user also understands that they are sending a part to us that is "Broken" and has a replacement value of zero dollars. ($0.00 USD). If the User sends a "broken" part to us for repair and is damaged during the shipping process to our facilities or from our facilities, we will not be liable for any damages to the part. Unless expressly stated or implied, Therepairshack.com its affiliates, employees, agents, consultants, contracted companies do not offer any warranty for our services offered.

In the event that the product is found to be defective, the Customer can utilize the services of the Manufacturer, in respect of any guarantee, warranty etc. TheRepairShack.com shall not incur any liability for the defective product, but may at its sole discretion, act as an intermediary between the Vendor and the Customer. In such an event, if the Product is returned within a period of 15 days to TheRepairShack.com. TheRepairShack.com may reimburse the Customer or replace the Product, subject to the policies of the Manufacturer and TheRepairShack.com extant at the relevant time.

Notwithstanding anything contained herein TheRepairShack.com acts only as retail traders through various platforms (online web store, print ads, call center, mail order catalogues, SMS. etc.) for various Manufacturers and shall in no way be responsible for any quality of Product, replacement, damages, additional cost , losses, expenses and/or taxes incurred by Users qua the Products. In no event shall TheRepairShack.com, its directors, officials, representatives, and employees be liable for any damages relating to the Products.

The User agrees to use the Services and/or Products provided by TheRepairShack.com, its affiliates, consultants and contracted companies, for lawful purposes only.

When the User visits the Site or sends emails to TheRepairShack.com, by means of electronic communication The User consents to receive communications from TheRepairShack.com electronically. TheRepairShack.com shall communicate with the User by email or by posting notices on the Site. The User agrees that all agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications that TheRepairShack.com provides to the User electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.

TheRepairShack.com shall protect the Information in accordance with the Privacy Policy of TheRepairShack.com. If the User uses the Site, he/she is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of his/her account and password and for restricting access to his/her computer, and he/she agrees to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under his/her account or password. TheRepairShack.com shall not be liable to any person for any loss or damage which may arise as a result of any failure by the User to protect his/her password or account. If the User knows or suspects that someone else knows his/her password he/she should promptly notify TheRepairShack.com by contacting TheRepairShack.com through the address provided hereinbelow. If TheRepairShack.com has reason to believe that there is likely to be a breach of security or misuse of the Site, TheRepairShack.com may require the User to change his/her password and/or TheRepairShack.com may suspend any Users account without any liability to TheRepairShack.com

Warranty and Return Policy for Appliance Replacement Parts

NON-SPECIAL ORDER Appliance Replacement Parts are subject to the following policies:

  1. A 30 Day Replacement Warranty beginning the date of purchase that covers the following:
    1. Defective parts that have original packaging. Buyer is responsible for shipping charges to return the part to our facility.
  2. 30 Day Full Refund Warranty beginning the date of purchase that covers the following:
    1. Parts that have not been installed and have all original packaging in resellable condition. Buyer is responsible for shipping charges to return the part to our facility.
  3. Exclusions to the above warranties
    1. Shipping charges for appliance parts are NON-REFUNDABLE.
    2. Accidental Damage
    3. Cosmetic Damage where the part is no longer in original NEW condition.
    4. Electrical shock, power surge, or ESD Damage.
    5. Claims for broken/defective parts or components that do not have matching serial numbers from the serial numbers originally sold with the unit.
    6. Claims that arise from deceptive or fraudulent information.
    7. Parts that have been installed.

SPECIAL ORDER Appliance Replacement Parts are subject to the following policies:

  1. A 30 Day Replacement Warranty beginning the date of purchase that covers the following:
    1. Defective parts that have original packaging. Buyer is responsible for shipping charges to return the part to our facility.
  2. 30 Day Partial Refund Warranty beginning the date of purchase that covers the following:
    1. Parts that have not been installed and have all original packaging in resellable condition. Buyer is responsible for shipping charges to return the part to our facility. Special Order parts also carry a 25% non-refundable restocking fee.
  3. Exclusions to the above warranties
    1. Shipping charges for appliance parts are NON-REFUNDABLE.
    2. Accidental Damage
    3. Cosmetic Damage where the part is no longer in original NEW condition.
    4. Electrical shock, power surge, or ESD Damage.
    5. Claims for broken/defective parts or components that do not have matching serial numbers from the serial numbers originally sold with the unit.
    6. Claims that arise from deceptive or fraudulent information.
    7. Parts that have been installed.

Warranty for Refurbished Laptop Products

There are 2 Warranties that are included with our refurbished laptops free of charge or for an additional fee if stated, a workmanship warranty and an extended warranty. Additionally, there are exclusions to these warranties listed under section 3.

  1. 60 Day Replacement Warranty beginning the date of purchase that covers the following:
    1. Defective electronic parts that were in place at the time of purchase.
    2. Used Batteries are warranted to hold a charge for at least 30 minutes.
    3. New Batteries are warranted to hold a charge for at least 1 hour unless otherwise stated but always a minimum of 1 hour.
    4. A/C Adaptors are fully covered.
    5. Damage in shipping
    6. Return shipping is covered for warranty claims within the first 60 days from the date product was shipped to the customer.
  2. 1 Year Extended Labor Warranty that begins the date of purchase and covers the LABOR for the following:
    1. Replacement of used batteries is warrantied to hold a charge for at least 30 minutes.
    2. Replacement of new batteries is warrantied to hold a charge for at least 1 hour unless otherwise stated but always a minimum of 1 hour.
    3. Replacement of defective parts
    4. Replacement of a/c adapters
  3. Exclusions to the above warranties
    1. Return shipping for any warranty claim that where 60 days have elapsed from the date of purchase.
    2. Accidental Damage
    3. Software related issues
    4. Cosmetic damage, blemishes, scratches, dents, dings, or otherwise anything that alters the physical appearance of the laptop after the date of purchase.
    5. Electrical shock, power surge, or ESD Damage.
    6. Tampering with the original configuration of the Laptop by individuals, companies, or employees not employed by The Repair Shack Inc.
    7. Claims for broken/defective parts or components that do not have matching serial numbers from the serial numbers originally sold with the unit.
    8. Power related problems due to using an A/C adapter that was not shipped with the laptop.
    9. Claims that arise from deceptive or fraudulent information.

Warranty for Electronic Repair Service Products (Does not apply to On-Site Repair Services)

There are 2 Warranties that are included with our repair services, a workmanship warranty, and an extended warranty. Additionally, there are exclusions to these warranties listed under section 3.

    1. 1 Year (365 DAY) workmanship warranty that begins the date you receive your part back and covers the following:
      1. Defective parts that were replaced by The Repair Shack.
      2. Board failures that are due to an error by Technicians employed by The Repair Shack.
      3. Labor costs are included to fix any issues due to the original problem and/or issues directly caused due to workmanship error

In the event of a warranty claim, if AFTER we receive the part and it is deemed a workmanship related issue we will reimburse the shipping costs you paid up to $10.00 within the first 60 days from the date the part was originally shipped back to the customer. After 60 days the customer is responsible for shipping the part back to our facility. If it is found that the reason for part failure was due to a workmanship issue we will cover the shipping back to the customer. If the issues is not related to workmanship issues then the customer will be responsible for all shipping charges. Please note that our shipping labels do NOT come with any insurance. Damages that arise while the item is in transit either to or from our facility regardless of who provided the shipping label will NOT be the responsibility of The Repair Shack.

    1. 1 Year (365 DAY) extended warranty that begins the date you receive your part back and covers the following:
      1. Electrical Shock
      2. Lightning Strike
      3. Wear and Tear
      4. Accidental Damage
      5. Clean Cycle
      6. Damage in Transit
      7. Damage by Third Party
      8. Anything other physical damage that is not listed below.
    1. Exclusions to the above warranties
      1. Warranty claims must be made within 30 days of receiving your repaired item to be eligible for any type of refund.
      2. Claims that arise from deceptive or fraudulent information.
      3. Keypads can become damaged in shipping very easily and as such we will not be responsible for any damage to a keypad or touchpad or similar while the item is in transit to or from our facility.
      4. Supplemental parts that are sent to us with the item that is to be repaired. This could include auxiliary relay boards, keypads, transformers etc... Whether the customer ships the part on their own free will or The Repair Shack requests the additional items for the purpose of testing, The Repair Shack will not be responsible for any damage that happens to those items at any point.
      5. Damage in transit to our facility or from our facility. Regardless of who pays for shipping, we will not cover replacements of anything that was damaged in transit to or from our facility. Customers should provide their own shipping label and ensure their package to avoid a total loss in the event that something is damaged in transit. 
      6. Workmanship claims for shipping charges will not be honored if the board has been tampered with, modified, or otherwise modified from the condition it was shipped to the customer in, including events outside of any party's control such as a lightning strike. Additionally, if your part was previously repaired and is then shipped back to our facility for warranty work, regardless of who provides a shipping label, The Repair Shack is not responsible for any damage in transit to or from our facility. It is important that you provide your own shipping label and insurance if you wish to have your parts protected from damage in the shipping process. 
      7. Complete Part, Device, or Appliance replacement in the event a part is damaged beyond repair due to a covered condition. i.e. Part is hit with lightning, which is covered by our extended warranty, but if the damage is too great that it is either impossible to repair or not cost effective to repair, in which case we will not be responsible for replacing the entire part, or the device or appliance that the part belongs to.
      8. Replacement of proprietary parts at any point before, during, or after the transaction or warranty period. Proprietary parts are parts that cannot be purchased through a typical means of ordering components and include parts such as:
        • Glass VFD Screens(Vacuum Fluorescent Display)
        • LED Screens
        • Transformers
        • Micro-Controllers (MCU)
        • EEPROM Chips
        • Keypads
        • Plastic or Metal housing

Please note that this list may not include every possible proprietary part we come across and is meant to serve as a general idea of what types of parts are considered proprietary. It is always our mission to make sure we can successfully complete a repair to the best of our ability with the parts that are available to us.

Warranty for Residential / Commercial Appliance Repair Services

This warranty only applies to Services conducted at the customer's place of business, residence, or job site. 

  1. 30 Day workmanship warranty that begins the date we complete the repair described in the service order and covers the following:
    1. Replacement Labor for defective parts that were replaced by The Repair Shack.
    2. Failures that are due to an error by Technicians employed by The Repair Shack.
    3. Labor costs are included to fix any issues due to the original problem and/or issues directly caused due to workmanship error
  2. Exclusions
    1. Shipping Charges
    2. Accidental Damage by anyone or anything other than employees of The Repair Shack Inc.
    3. Electrical shock, power surge, or ESD Damage.
    4. Tampering with the original configuration of the appliance by individuals, companies, or employees not employed by The Repair Shack Inc.
    5. Claims for broken/defective parts or components that do not have matching serial numbers from the serial numbers originally sold with the unit.
    6. Claims for problems that aren't part of the appliance. I.e. Dryer ventilation in the wall is clogged. 
    7. Claims that arise from deceptive or fraudulent information.

Cancellation Policy for On-Site Services

This policy only applies to in-home service appointments. In order for us to offer lower than average pricing, we must maintain a full schedule. If a customer cancels an appointment with little to no notice and we are unable to fill that slot, then we as a company take a loss that we should not have to take. When we put someone on our schedule we devote time and resources in researching the issues, ordering parts, and blocking out time to come to the customer's home. All before we ever come out. In order to ensure that these good faith time investments we make are not fruitless, we have implemented a cancellation fee. If a customer does cancels an appointment within 12 hours of their scheduled visit and we are unable to fill the time slot with another appointment, a $75 cancellation fee will be charged to the customer's form of payment. If the customer reschedules within 5 business days and the new appointment is NOT canceled, then we will reduce the cancellation fee to $40.00. Cancellation Fees are 100% NON-REFUNDABLE. We encourage our customers to make sure that they will be available for the time they set with us. We understand life happens, but we also hope you understand that as a business we set our pricing based on the things we can predict. We want to continue to offer better pricing than our competitors, and in order to do so, we have to be able to mitigate losses such as missed appointments. Thank you for your understanding. If you have questions or concerns about our cancellation policy we encourage you to call us and speak with us. We are always willing to listen and take suggestions.

Diagnostic Fee

All repair service orders have a diagnostic fee built into the price paid at checkout. This portion of what you pay is non-refundable regardless of the outcome and becomes non-refundable the day your part arrives at our facility. If you purchase one of our repair services, you are agreeing to this. Below is a list of the diagnostic fees based on the type of repair.

  • Appliance Control Board Repairs - $75.00
  • Custom Circuit Board Repairs - $100.00
  • Computer / Laptop Repairs - $75.00
  • Cell Phone / Tablet Repairs - $75.00
  • HDTV / Monitor Repairs - $75.00
  • Appliance Touchpad / Keypad Repairs - $74.99(Only when paying for separate keypad repair, if sent in conjunction with an appliance control board repair, the diagnostic fee is free.)

Packing Rules

When shipping a part to us for repair you are agreeing to follow the following steps:

  • Use bubble wrap, newspaper, or packing paper.
  • Do NOT use shredded paper, or packing peanuts.
  • Pack things tight, if your part is flopping around, it may arrive damaged beyond repair.
  • Do not send hazardous substances...like a dead mouse that crawled into your control. (Yes, it happens)
  • Include your receipt with your order number on it.
  • Insure your package!! Don't be the customer we have to say "I told you so" to. Shipping companies sometimes like to take a break and play football with packages, so make sure that you are covered if that happens.

Core Fee Agreement

A core fee is a term we use to associate with a control board that is either being used as a donor board to retrieve proprietary parts or is a board that is used in conjunction with purchasing a new part. If we are selling you a replacement part, there is typically a core fee associated with it that is 100% refundable when your core is returned to us. Like replacing your car battery, the cores are returned to the original vendor and the core fee is charged to us by them. Not all replacement parts require a core fee, but if it does, it will be refunded back to you once your core is received by us. If we already have it then the core fee is waived. If we are using a core to repair your existing control, there could be a core fee charged that ranges from $50 to $100 that covers the cost of the core purchased to repair your board. As with any additional charges, we ALWAYS contact you prior to making any decisions about your repair.

Sanitation Fee Agreement

There are times when our homes harbor neighbors in the cockroach family. They love to make circuit boards their hang out spot. We understand that it is out of your control, but if you send us a board that is saturated in cockroach or similar fecal matter or parts, there may be a sanitation fee added to your order. Federal Regulations require us to sanitize the board as insect fecal matter can carry pathogens. Please note that many boards have small traces and this discloser is not for those. You will have to use your best judgment, if there is clearly a lot, and you don't want to pay the $50 sanitation fee, grab some circuit board cleaner from a local hardware store, and clean as much of it off as you can. We can't force our technicians to work on something that is hazardous to their health, no matter how minimal the risk is. If you send us a board that requires sanitation, by law we cannot mail the board back to you without sanitizing it first. Additionally, the sanitation fee is non-refundable and non-negotiable. We use a 3rd party company that does the cleaning. Please know that we do not like charging this fee, so if you have a board you think might trigger a sanitation fee, take a picture of it and send it to us BEFORE you ship it to us and we will tell you ahead of time because once we receive it, the law requires us to sanitize it prior to shipping. Hopefully, you can understand.

Donor Policy

If in the event your part can't be repaired due to a proprietary part being bad, we may give you a donor option. Proprietary components can't be purchased so we have to source them from another part. The donor option is optional because there is no time guarantee on sourcing the donor part you may need. We will only give you this option if your board can't be repaired without the proprietary component, AND we think there is a likely chance that we can source it. If we present this option to you and you accept, the entire service fee you paid becomes non-refundable. We do this as a courtesy to the few customers that need a donor as replacing the entire unit will cost in excess of $1500 or more. If we provide this option to you, we will provide you with more details prior to a decision being made. Orders placed on the Donor List will remain on the list for a period of 6 months or until the appropriate parts are found whichever occurs first. If after 6 months a donor part has not been located we will recycle the board and close the order out. 

Time to complete repair

Our repair time fluctuates with the seasons. On average it takes about 6-7 business days for us to complete an order from the day it arrives. We repair all sorts of parts, so there is a lot of unpredictability with what we receive each day. So sometimes we get orders out in 2 days, and other times its 10 days. Part delays can happen, technicians have families who have life events that cause them to miss work, or in some cases, your repair is just more difficult than the typical repair. The moral of the story is that we want your part out just as fast as you want it out. A delay in time does not mean we are a bad company, it just means that life happened, just as it does in yours, so please be patient with us. We promise to communicate with you through the whole process.

Keypads and Touchpad Repairs

Many of the parts we service also have keypads or touchpads. It is the part of the device that typically has buttons and is used to engage the functions of your device. Sometimes these are built into the control and sometimes they are separate. In either case, they are NOT considered part of the control board, and as such are not included in the service fee, nor are we responsible for any damage that may happen in transit to or from our facility. However, many times control boards and keypads will both fail, or one will fail to cause the other to fail. If you send your keypad with your control board we will diagnose it for free. If it is also defective we will either quote you the cost to replace it or repair it. Sending the keypad can be more difficult as they are many times much larger, however, in the long run, it can save a lot of time to send it in with it. Please note that if you send in your keypad, it's possible that we may have to charge a little more in return shipping. Typically we don't, but if it dramatically increases the cost to ship it back we may call you prior to shipping it back. Additionally please make sure you insure your package for at least $300-$400 if you send a keypad/touchpad as we will NOT be responsible for any damages that happen while your package is in transit to or from our facility.

Parts required for repair

Not following this will most likely cause a delay in your repair. Almost all controls possess 3 main components. And in most cases, these are all contained on a single part. However, in some cases, there could be more than one circuit board that needs to be sent. Sometimes the problem you are experiencing is caused by multiple issues. We want to be able to test and repair everything the first time so that your repair goes smoothly. This is even more important if you are with a service company. You don't want to have to drive to your customer, install the repaired part only to learn that the problem was on more than one board and have to delay your customer and start the process all over again. Most controls will contain a transformer, relays, and a display. If you do not see all 3 of these components on the board, you likely have another board hiding in your appliance that you will want to send us. Refund Policy for Repair Services

In the event that we receive your part and it is beyond repair we will give you some options:

  • We can scrap the board for you or ship it back to you and issue you a partial refund. We will retain the diagnostic/bench fee and refund the rest of the service fee you paid.
  • Shipping charges will be refunded in full if we have not shipped or do not ship anything back to you. If we ship anything back to you, the shipping charges become non-refundable.
  • The service fee for orders that move to the Donor list, as discussed earlier, are non-refundable.
  • Refund requests for warranty claims are only eligible for refunds if the warranty claim is made within the first 30 days of receiving the repaired item back. Warranty claims made after the first 30 days will still receive warranty support free of charge, however no refunds of any kind will be given.

Shipping Charges

Shipping charges are refundable as long as the item hasn't been shipped. If your part was deemed non-repairable and you choose to have us recycle it, shipping charges you paid will be refunded. If we at any point in the transaction we ship the part to you, the shipping charges become non-refundable.

Damage to products sent to or from our facility for repair does not come with any type of insurance protection. If your item is damaged in transit either to or from our facility we will not be responsible for replacing it or refunding any fees paid in the repair of your item. If you would like to insure your package, you must provide us with a shipping label. There are no exceptions to this policy and it is strictly enforced as we have no control over how a package is handled once it is en route to or from our facility.

Accidental Order Refunds

If you order this service by mistake, or, you change your mind, no problem! You have 30 days from the time of purchase to request a full refund if your part was never sent to us. If we receive your part prior to your request the diagnostic fee of $75.00 will be charged and is non-refundable. The remaining portion of the service fee is refundable.

Service Expectations

The Repair Shack offers a very unique service, one that very few companies are doing. As such the customer-business relationship doesn't always follow the same rules we are used to then go down to the store to purchase something. We understand there is a lot of stress involved when your things break. Most have come to us because we are the last bit of hope for you before you have to replace the entire unit. We can never guarantee a repair until AFTER we diagnose it. Our Technicians are borderline Wizards, but they are still people. Respect and Appreciation goes a long way with us. In the event that there is a hiccup in your order, please know that it's not intentional. We truly try to provide the best customer experience possible, but the nature of our business is extremely unpredictable at times so we appreciate your patience in the event there is a hiccup as we try to revive your part.

Customer Abandonment

In the event a customer does not respond to multiple documented attempts to make contact, we will place the order into long term storage. After 60 consecutive days has elapsed from the date of the last contact via phone, email, text, or in person, we will consider the order abandoned. We will recycle the parts and there will be no refunds given for abandoned orders, however, if there is any refundable portion of the service fee paid had the order not been abandoned, then that amount will remain in our system as a credit towards a future transaction.

The User further agrees to:

Provide true, accurate, current and complete Information about himself as prompted by TheRepairShack.com’s registration form (including information being the "Registration Data"), as and when required by TheRepairShack.com.
Maintain and promptly update the Registration Data to keep it true, accurate, current and complete. If the User provides any information that is untrue, inaccurate, incomplete, or not current or if TheRepairShack.com has reasonable grounds to suspect that such information is untrue, inaccurate, and not current or not in accordance with the Agreement, TheRepairShack.com has the right to indefinitely suspend or terminate you’re the membership and refuse to provide the User with access to the Site.
TheRepairShack.com will not be responsible for any damage suffered by Users from use of the Services and/or Products on this site. this without limitation includes loss of revenue/data resulting from delays, non-deliveries, missed deliveries, or service interruptions as may occur because of any act/omission of the Vendor. this disclaimer of liability also applies to any damages or injury caused by any failure of performance, error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, computer virus, communication line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, alteration of, or use of record, whether for breach of contract, tortuous behavior, negligence, or under any other cause of action.

Any such termination of the Agreement shall not cancel the obligation of the User to pay for the Product already ordered from the Site or affect any liability of the User that may have arisen under the Agreement.
The Site provides content from other Internet sites or resources and while TheRepairShack.com tries to ensure that material included on the Site is correct, reputable and of high quality, it cannot accept responsibility if this is not the case. TheRepairShack.com will not be responsible for any errors or omissions or for the results obtained from the use of such information or for any technical problems you may experience with the Site. this disclaimer does not apply to any Product warranty offered by the Manufacturer of the Product as specified in the product specifications. this disclaimer constitutes an essential part of this Agreement.
To the fullest extent permitted under applicable law, TheRepairShack.com or its suppliers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, incidental, consequential or exemplary damages, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data or other intangible losses arising out of or in connection with the Site, its services or this Agreement. Without prejudice to the generality of this Clause, the total liability of TheRepairShack.com to you for all liabilities arising out of this Agreement is it in tort or contract is limited to the value of the Product ordered by the Customer.
If any part of this Agreement is determined to be invalid or unenforceable pursuant to applicable law including, but not limited to, the warranty disclaimers and liability limitations set forth above, then the invalid or unenforceable provision will be deemed to be superseded by a valid, enforceable provision that most closely matches the intent of the original provision and the remainder of the Agreement shall continue in effect. Unless otherwise specified herein, this Agreement constitutes the entire Agreement between the User and TheRepairShack.com with respect to the Services and the Products and it supersedes all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals, whether electronic, oral or written, between the User and TheRepairShack.com with respect to the Services and the Products. TheRepairShack.com’s failure to act with respect to a breach by the User or others does not waive its right to act with respect to subsequent or similar breaches.
this Agreement shall be construed in accordance with the applicable laws. The Courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction in any disputes arising out or pertaining thereto. The decision of TheRepairShack.com, in respect of any dispute or difference either in interpretation or otherwise, of any terms of this Agreement between the parties hereto, shall be final and binding on the User.
